Dallas, Texas – The Law Offices of Heygood,
Orr, Reyes & Bartolomei is pleased to announce the selection of Angel
Reyes, III as a member of the
Greater Dallas
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’ Board
of Directors. The selection came last week and Mr. Reyes’ appointment
will begin in October.
The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is
an active Dallas organization that promotes and protects Hispanic businesses
in the Dallas Metroplex. The Chamber supports the “advancement, education
and economic growth of the Hispanic business community.” With a membership
of over 1,800 businesses, corporations, and individuals, the Chamber influences
local
commerce through certifications, legislative action, business development
and more.
Other board members include Mario Ramirez, founder and CEO of La
Paloma Investments U.S.A; Anthony A. Hernandez, founder of Meridian Commercial,
L.P.; Lupita Colmenero, publisher of El Hispano News; and Guillermo Perales,
one of the nation’s leading restaurant
franchise-operators, with over 130 assorted locations.
Angel Reyes, III is
a managing partner for Heygood, Orr, Reyes, Pearson & Bartolomei,
a Dallas-based practice which represents plaintiffs in personal injury, business
litigation, dangerous prescription drugs, product defect and wrongful death
lawsuits. Angel received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School
and is currently completing his MBA from Texas Tech. He is an active member
of numerous local organizations, including the Dallas Bar Association, the
Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce and City of Dallas Municipal Library Board.
Angel
commented “I’ve been associated with the Greater Dallas
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for years and I’m honored to be selected
to serve on the Board of Directors. The Chamber is an outstanding resource
for the local Hispanic business community and I look forward to contributing
to the groups efforts in a more involved role.”
